CS3 was recently awarded a significant BAS controls project with the Fedex Forum in Memphis, TN. The Forum, located right off of historic Beale Street in downtown Memphis, is home to the NBA Memphis Grizzlies, the University of Memphis and multiple entertainment performances a year.
CS3 held a PROficient event with Schneider Electric where Jeremy McCullough presented on EcoStruxure Building Operation, Building Advisor, and Energy Expert. The engineer for FedEx Forum came to the event adamant that he wanted Tridium installed, but after seeing the full integration EcoStruxure could provide and the ease of use from a single pane of glass, he had a change of heart and was open to the idea of EcoStruxure. James Rogers, Senior BAS Technical Adviser at CS3 hosted the FedEx Forum’s executive staff and engineers at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee to show them EcoStruxure Building Operation and Building Advisor in action. The executive staff and engineers were so impressed with Bridgestone, they asked for another meeting with Jeremy McCullough. After the second meeting, they were sold on EcoStruxure and CS3 is now in the process of installing EcoStruxure Building Operation, Building Advisor and Energy Expert. Additional meetings are in the works to review adding on lighting control, electrical metering and access control. This is a great example of teamwork between an EcoXpert and Schneider Electric all working towards a common goal.
We are excited about this opportunity to showcase our expertise at the FedEx Forum. We are blessed with great people and great projects across the Mid-South Area and teamwork like helps promote the entire Organization. – Rob Jerkins, CS3
