Safety - CS3 - Premistar

Safety is the primary ingredient in ensuring a successful, cost-effective, on-time project; it is essential to Contracting Single Source Solutions. CS3, Inc. maintains and implements a Corporate Safety Policy Program consisting of three elements: Policy, Training, and Enforcement.

Policy:

CS3, Inc.’s primary safety goal is to prevent job related accidents and health problems during the construction of projects. The primary function of CS3, Inc., as it relates to construction safety and health, is to monitor and ensure compliance with the health and safety standards required by law and to administer and enforce the conditions of the company pertaining to safety, health, and security.

Training:

CS3, Inc. believes employee training is the most important part of any safety program and concentrates their efforts in this area. Supervisors receive hard copies of the safety manual. They are then trained to incorporate the program into the work schedule with informal group discussions called “Toolbox Safety Talks”. All employees participate in regularly scheduled follow-up training along with site specific programs. Over 90% of CS3, Inc.’s work force has completed the OSHA 10 hour safety training and all of their Apprentices are trained to at a minimum OSHA 10.
